Girls Teams Boys Teams
Each year Crossfire Alaska and Matanuska Soccer Club field premier boys and girls teams in competitive divisions between U11 and U19, as well as academy and pre-competitive teams for younger players. These teams compete within Alaska through the United Anchorage Youth Soccer League and in AYSA-sanctioned competitive tournaments throughout the state. Most Crossfire Alaska teams also travel to tournaments outside the state, to include regional championship play through both US Youth Soccer and US Club Soccer.

Competitive team programs require a higher level of commitment with training and games occurring several times a week.
Playing on a competitive team means you are entering into a structured soccer development program with educated and dedicated coaches and you will be playing similarly coached teams at similar talent levels. A competitive team is often together for many years, so the competitive coach can take a long view of development and work on the foundations that will pay dividends when the players are 15, 16, 17 years old.
A competitive soccer team is competitive because the players are developed and play with and against players of equal or less skill. Even kids on the playground will even up teams, if they are lopsided, to ensure good competitive play. You only get better by playing against better competition, raising your standards and working hard to be better.
